S&W M&P .45 question

I was just wondering, has anyone heard of Smith & Wesson making a compact M&P in .45. I know they only offer the M&P compacts in 9, .40, and .357 sig. I am hoping within the next year or so a compact .45 will be available. Please let me know if you've heard anything.

Rumors have both a commander-sized and a true compact M&P45 coming next year. Though I'll believe it when I see them.
