That's what I bought it for. I'm going to take up the sport this summer.

If I could get the Pro trigger and those sights in a "c" version, I would buy it without any hesitation.

Should be able to do a Apex job on one. Sights, I would probably do standard XS Dots.

I'm thinking a 9C might be the next M&P. I also like the standard Pro with the night sights.

Buds has the 9L and Pro at the same price right now.

Congrats on the new Pro. They are nice guns. I have been shooting mine in IDPA for a while now and I'm very happy with it.

Joe, have a look around: http://www.speedshooterspecialties.com/catalog/index.php When it comes to the M&P it's like Burger King, you CAN have it YOUR WAY. Great sight for you IPSC guys too. Dawson Precision for FO sights, work great on the wife's 9L and my 40 Full Size. Apex kit or home trigger job, both around 4 lbs. unless you get the comp. kit (2 1/2 lbs.)

I was thinking of buying one but the trigger actually turned me off. Bought an FNX-9 instead.
