I'm sure some others have you got this ad email from a day or two ago.

It seems S&W is now offering a $50 rebate on EZs. Brownells is advertising the after-rebate price with some fine print.

  • $370 for the 380 w/o thumb safety
  • $430 for the nine w/o thumb safety
  • $500 for the nin w/o thumb safety and including night sights
Browneslls also advertising $40 off of orders $250 and up. (code 40OFF250) It doesn't seem like S&W pistols are excluded from their long list of exemptions, either.

If I'm reading this right, the middle one comes out to $430 - $40 off sale - $50 off rebate = $340.

There will of course be tax, transfer and background check tacked on, but that still seems like a good deal to me. I might "pull the trigger" on one.

I'm thinking they'll discontinue them soon to make way for the Equalizer and CSX.

What do you think?

Agree that the Equalizer is the EZ “Plus” and will likely replace the EZ, at least in 9mm. I haven’t heard of a 380 version yet though.

Doggone it!
I wish I had not seen that link!
Got a Taylor and Co. 1911 in 10mm ordered!
$459 with tax and shipping! Has adjustable sights and 2-mags.
Sorry for the off topic!

Well, it’s not exactly apples to apples.

Woman-friendly 9 mm vs. woman-hostile 10 mm 1911…
