So, Debbie took her CCW Class w/ her S&W model 36 in .38 spl, but d/t lack of available ammo, she had to qualify w/ +P self defense loads.
Quite snappy recoil and it put her off carrying this beauty full time.....
Enter Geno and his desire to keep her happy. Searching for a .22 revolver was not fruitful. Cost vs Dao vs availability.
My LGS recommended a S&W, M&P EZ in .380. Beautiful smooth trigger, light weight, easy to rack the slide and load. OMG!
Do I keep it and get her flowers?
What a fun gun!!!! Help me choose....new gun for wife vs a cool new CCW for me? HELP!

Give her the gun! You don't want a pooty little 380. Get the he-man version in 9mill for yourself. It's just as EZ as the 380. It's very slightly wider and only a tiny bit heaver is all. My daughter has the 380, the son-in-law the 9 mill version. Both are pretty nice. even if they are plastic fantastics.

Give her flowers. You also should give her the gun an appropriate amount of time before or after giving her the flowers. If you like the gun that much, get your own gun.

What does she want Geno??

Get the gun for yourself and give her flowers. Mention that you found a new gun and that she might like it. If she tries it and loves it, it’s hers. If not, it’s still yours. Either way you come out the hero!

I bought one for my significant other. She has yet to see it ............ (I have had it for about 6 months now)

I’ve thought about getting the ..380 EZ version for my 80 year old Dad and swapping it back for my Gen 1 Glock 17. The 17 is just a bit much for him to operate well.

I haven’t held- shot one, if folks have experience how do you think it would work for an elder shooter?

Stay safe.

Give her the gun , flowers , chocolate ( who forgets chocolate? ) and find some Liberty 38s DD8C18F9-50D5-46FA-9F3E-BF9484C886D2.png
You will be the winner .

I purchased one of those for my wife a couple of years ago. It is truly EZ everything.
But I must ask..... if 38 special ammo is so scarce, aren’t you seeing the same with 380 ammo availability? That’s what I’ve seen here over the past year. No ammo is no ammo and you’ve got nothing more than an expensive club with any gun.
Just wondering.....

My mothers is 85 and has one. She could no longer shoot a revolver DA and couldn't operate the slide on a Glock 48. She likes it. I bought my wife the EZ-9 because she has the same weakness of slide operation with the G48.

Everyone's happy.

Thanks

Now if I can just find one...

Stay safe..

Is that what she wanted?

Have her try the 36 with factory wadcutters.
As if you can find any of those! +P was the only .38 ammo that was in the stable. She was given her M&P .380 EZ last night! Watched a video from Lucky Gunner on it. Tonight is first range session! I have plenty of .380 full metal jacket and some nice defensive loads too. We'll see! Thanks!

I thought he meant Glock 36 at first. I have a box of .45 ACP wadcutters by Magtech. But perhaps it was S&W Model 36. :)
