S/W mod 19 questions...

I saw a used mod.19 for $325..is this a good price??It's a snubby SS in great shape...real tight.......I'm thinking as a ccw and for IDPA once in a while....

I would not pay that much but seems reasonable for a good one. Make sure you use Jim March's check out on it.

I did not know that model 19's were ever made in stainless steel. Are you sure it's not nickel? The price is a little high.

It must be nickel as the ss counterpart is the M66. If it's in excellent condition the price is not out of line for around me. The price do tend to fluctuate depending on location.
Does it come with the box, tools, and literature? That also affects the pricing.

it was definatly SS....huh..maybe it was marked wrong on the tag.....it was inn great shape,not sure about anything that's coming with it...but I'm going back to check it out...more info to follow...

Speaking for here in my neck of the woods, (Kansas) $325.00 would be a a common amount asked by a dealer, assumeing good condition. Either gun show dealer, or local brick and mortar dealer.

So with that in mind, if you want it now, buy it and don't look back. If you are not in a hurry you may luck into an individual willing to take less.

First rule of economics~~ anything is worth what someone will pay for it.

I'd pay $325 in a heartbeat for it if it were a nickel M 19 in anything under a -5 with the 2.5" bbl and in very good shape! ! !

If it is stainless grab it, I just bought a M66 for $340.
