S&W model 10 Bull barrel

Does anyone know of a Smith and Wesson Model 10 with bull barrel for sale in the Knoxville TN. area? Doesn't have to be perfect just looking for a shooter.

If you can arrange for a transfer dealer who won't charge an arm and a leg you can find these on GuinBroker.com and AuctionArms.com all the time for $125-$175.

Thatguy, thanks for the info. I think this is one of the best revolvers for practice ever made. Didn't realize you could get one that reasonable.

In the past two months I have bought three 10 HB's ($100, $125 and $175 for ANIB) two 13's (one nickel for $125 and blue for $150 ) I have been seeing them around for less than $200.00 one place had two older m19's for 225 each, not minty but certianly not ugly.

Cdnn has model 64 for 219.

FWIW: Just handled one at a gunstore in NE Ohio and the price was $250. So, those stated prices appear to be very good.

I wonder if that was an old cop gun and somebody accidently bumped their head on it at one time....

For the sake of completeness, I will mention that you could also buy a new production Model 10, which will have a 4" bull barrel.

Mine was around $420. It's a very accurate gun. The issue rubber grip feels good in my hand. S&W uses the same grip on the new model 619 seven-shooter in .357 Magnum.

I too like the M10 as a "revolver for practice."

It doesn't look bent to me. If you think it does I would ask the seller about it before bidding. Always ask first. Shows some blue wear, for sure, but it doesn't look bent to me. Sometimes things look funny in pictures due to lighting, etc.
