Just wondering if anyone can tell me how they like the 2 inch version of the model 327?
And if anyone could post some pics of how you may have dressed it up?
My questions would be about recoil and concealability with the larger cylinder.
So is it controllable and how is the muzzle flash?
Thanks
Wes

I carry my R8 (5" Barrel) all the time with no prblems.

It's not light, but it gives me the "Hello, don't mess with me" feeling!

I like mine

I bought the 327 used off GB - keep an eye out for a bargain. Great shooting gun, really good fit and recoil control, even with top strenght .357 magnums.

It's accurate for a snub, a lot of which I'm sure is owed to the better control from the very nice grips. You have the choice to use moonclips - or not.
It's a PC gun so trigger pull is light and smooth.

Muzzle flash is pronounced as you would imagine.

3 nit pics. 1: It's not a full length ejector, so you really have to whack the rod to push out the shells - watch for sharp edges :banghead:
2: I don't like the orange ramp sight. Works ok in the day time, but gives up to the M&P series at night. Would be very cool with the XS sight from the M&P line.
3: I've had 2 or 3 misfires using range reloads. Never factory stuff or my reloads though.

Smurfslayer,
Were the misfires using moonclips? I've heard .357's are very brass sensitive unlike .45 ACP moonclips. Also how much is ejection improved w/ the clips? I'm thinking of moonclipping my 386. That is a long cartridge to dump! Tks.

I don't think so. I never bother to moon clip range ammo since I usually supplly either my own handloads or store bought ammo. These were an impulse buy because my intent was to shoot more ammo than I had on hand before leaving for the range.

Thus far my experience with 8 round clips for 357s has reminded me of jokes regarding "pushing a rope".

They're longer and thinner than .45s and tend to flop about. A fast reload may yield to practice but I haven't been moved to find out. Fortunately, they're optional. Mine are back in the box where they shall remain.
