Help me make my mind up folks! I ordered a SS 627 PC but the two tone V Comp PC came in. I am tempted to get this one but can't quite decide if I would like the V Comp or even the two tone. Does anyone know if this model is in any way more collectable or harder to come by? Opinions are appreciated...

Do you want the gun as an investment or as a shooter? Buying new guns as investment is a pretty tricky business. You may have that gun in your safe for ten years and not see any appreciation in value whatsoever. If you're wanting a shooting then its a toss up. You'll be tickled pink with either gun.

Thanks for the reply. I am looking fir a fun shooter for the most part. I would use it as a shooter, a home defense gun and truck gun. I really love the look of the SS with wood grips over the two tone... But I know I would love both!

I have a two tone PC. It is an accurate, well balanced, great trigger and the comp takes the edge out of the hotter loads. With range fodder, the lack of muzzle flip lets me get nice, tight groups.

I agree that buying guns as an 'investment' is a questionable way to increase your net worth. Buy to shoot and have fun with this one. Dave

By the way, ships with a tool and cover if you want to use it without the comp. Dave
