S&W Model 629 Classic Bead Blast Finish?

Hello all:

I have a 629 Classic sporting its original brushed finish, with laser engraved markings. I see that quite a few people have finished their stainless revolvers with a fine bead blasting, I think this satin finish looks absolutely beautiful.

How would I go about having this done to my 629? Are there any reasons not to have it bead blasted? Would any issues arise from the relatively light laser etching vs. roll stamping?

What are your thoughts?

Possibly the laser engraving could be removed or made less legible. I have seen pics of a polished 629 Classic where the laser engraving was virtually removed. I would be leery of it myself.

I like the factory finish on my 629 Classic.
