Followup.
Well just got the 64 back from my gunsmith! He did a great job, fixed the end shake by stretching I believe the (yoke)! Also replaced the hand! Revolver is now mechanically gtg!
Sold off the accessories, not a big fan of the combat grips (they were kinda beat anyway, otherwise I would have kept them) ). I kept the regular s&w wood grips and 3 speedloaders, didn't want or need the holsters either as this is just a range toy!
After all said and done I have $230 into the gun, and from what I understand k frames have skyrocketed in value recently! At least in my area...
Now I just have to resist the darn trading urges!.... fella has a vg+ marlin 336 in 30/30 its an older one with nice wood and the JM stamp on the barrel...I have a feeling if we traded straight up I would lose on that one!! ????
