Speedloader for S&W 640 same as S&W 36 ?

Will the Safariland and HKS speedloaders I have for S&W 36 (5 shot .38 spcl) work properly in S&W 640 (5 shot .357/.38 Cenetnnial model)?

Oddly, HKS doesn't list the 640 anywhere on their charts (not available online--I looked on back of a package); the 36 gets the HKS 36-A speedloader. Safariland also doesn't list the 640 anywhere on their sizing chart (the S&W 36 gets the Comp I): http://www.safariland.com/info/willfit/speedloaders_dg.pdf

I'm guessing they'll work with both the 36 and 640 but would like to be sure. Anyone know?

They should work fine. The Magnum cylinder is longer, but the charge-hole pattern is the same.
