I recently acquired a S&W Performance Center 627-4 in .38 Super. (Got it in a trade). I called Bangers and was told that only 325 were made and retailed for $1069.00. I can find nothing regarding current value. Does the
low production and unique configuration of this revolver help it hold value
or lessen it? I appreciate hearing from anyone who owns one of these or has any idea of value. Just curious. Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,
DRC

Check with Jim Supica at www.armchairgunshow.com

Jim is the co-author of "Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson," and a leading authority in the field. It would also be a good idea to get a factory letter that would confirm the details from S&W factory historian, Roy Jinks. Additional information will be found at: www.smith-wesson.com

I suspect that in the long term, if not the short, the gun will have some collector's value - if it is kept unfired, and still in the original box, with papers, etc.
