Just asking because I'm curious, actually. No poll question comparing it to another pistol, etc.

Since I neglected to say so in the title, I'm interested in the .45acp version. (Don't know if the Performance Center makes this one in any other caliber.)

Just wondering if anyone has experience with it and what overall comments you might make about it, just for fun really.

TIA

Can't speak to the .45, but I have one in .40 and I have been very happy with it. Shoots well, good trigger, andthe pirting helps with muzzle flip.

I had a 2.0 PC 9mm Sheild w/ported barrel which I liked and functioned flawlessly but I foolishly sold it last year. I replaced it a month ago with a new 1.0 version PC Sheild 9 w/night sights for $399 from Cabelas. The biggest difference I noticed was the less aggressive grip texture on the 1.0 version. I added the Talon grip for $17 for that reason. Other than the scalloping on the front of the slide(which seems to be more for looks than function) on the 2.0 and the little nub behind the trigger to prevent over travel (which I never heard an issue about) I believe I've got the same gun for $100 less than the 2.0 PC version. I don't notice a difference between the 2.0 PC trigger and the 1.0 PC and both shoot very accurately. If you really want to save some $$, you can get the standard Sheild 9 or 40 for $269.
