S&W Promo P-Mags

I purchased a S&W M&P15 in October and mailed in the coupon for the 5 free P-Mags the first week of November.

Was getting a bit impatient, so yesterday, I e-mailed S&W. They replied this morning, indicating that they were back ordered and would ship soon.

This afternoon, the FedEx man dropped off a box with- P-Mags!

Took 2 1/2 months, but I finally got them.

I purchased a S&W M&P .40 in Nov 08 and still havent gotten the $50 rebate and my son bought one two months before that and hasn't gotten his either.

I'm beginning to believe its intentional. If you don't follow you won't get it.

Or you know.... they coud just be backed up.

I bought my fullsized M&P9 back about 2.5 years ago when S&W was offering two free mags AND $50.

Got the mags in about 6 weeks. Check took about 4 months. But in the end, it showed up alright!

S&W has among the best CS in the industry (along with Ruger, SA, and a few others). I guarantee you they are not trying to hoodwink anyone. What's the percentage in that for them? They save $50, but lose hundreds from the bad word of mouth? puuuhlease! If that's how they operated, they would be in business as long as they have been.

The fine print on the bottom of the coupon states it takes between 8 and 10 weeks to get the P-Mags. It took exactly ten weeks for mine to come in the mail. When I got them I thought this was kind of cool!
