Howdy Again
Moving up in time from the Tip Ups to the Top Breaks. We'll start with the large Number Threes.
2nd Model Russian, chambered for 44 Russian. It left the factory in February 1875.
1st Model Schofield. Shipped from the factory to the National Armory in Springfield Mass in July 1875.
This one was refinished at the factory in 1957.
Another 1st Model Schofield, also shipped in July of 1875. This one has not been refinished, not much blue left on it.
A pair of New Model Number Threes. Both chambered for 44 Russian.
The nickel plated one shipped in August 1882. It was refinished at the factory in 1965.
The blued one shipped in October 1896. It was part of a large shipment to Japan. It has not been refinished, probably has about 50% original factory blue.
A pair of 44 Double Actions. Both chambered for 44 Russian.
The nickel plated target model shipped in August 1895.
The blued one has been refinished. It has had the front sight replaced with an old dime. it shipped October 1881.
