"It's acommon practice to pull one of the sear springs (there are 2, 1 inside the other) wich can casue the reset isue you're having". That's more than likely the problem, I don't think the Pigtail spring would effect reset.
I had the same issue with my sw9ve. I did the home trigger fix (removed pigtail and replaced outer spring).
First few shots at the range it did EXACTLY what you are describing. I replaced all the parts back to stock and works perfectly like it always did before. I'd check the sear springs first.
I finally got it to my gunsmith and got it solved. Couple of messed up springs. Cost me $35 to fix and the slide moves better and the trigger is nice and crisp. Thanks for all the help guys!
