SA Champion at local shop...worth it?

Looking for a new gun for carry...and at the local shop/range where I work, there is a used Springfield 1911 Champion Loaded in .45 with Hogue grips and Novak night sights. The finish is the OD/Black Armory Kote. Price is $665.

Just thought I'd see if you guys thought it'd be worth picking up.

EDIT: Now I see that they come with two-piece full-length guide rods...not sure how I feel about that. Still, I'd appreciate any opinions.

Champion isn't true Commander size 4" barrel against 4 1/4 . I am sure you can live with the guide rod . I bought a Champ and never left store. I was hanging out and guy sold a NIB Colt Officer he had never fired it and needed money. Dealer bought and I traded Springfield back in. I still have the Colt. friend has a Champ and has never been any trouble. Go for it if you want it
