Safariland 6377 & Glock sight

I've been looking at security holsters for a Glock 17. Some things about the Serpa made me uncomfortable, so I eliminated it. I like the Safariland 6377, especially that it locks at the ejection port instead of the trigger guard and I like the way the release works.

However I've read a few comments that the internal locking system can damage or knock off the gun's front sight. Anybody have any experience with this, or any other recommendations?
