The yard and unplowed street have 6+ inches of snow, more is coming down all day, and the only route into the neighborhood is up one moderately steep unplowed street, then down a second even steeper unplowed street. I think I can safely go to Level 4 and leave my EDC just handy instead of holstered.
However, the afternoon looks opportune from some dry fire draw practice and Mantis Xercises.

I’m in central Texas and had to shovel snow from my sidewalk and front porch area yesterday. It was the bad guy’s perfect opportunity because it was the first time in almost two years that I did not carry. :what:

It was 2 degrees that morning so 99.9% of Texans were just trying to survive.

In Tennessee I need to be cutting trees while Mother Nature so graciously has the branches held down. The saw isn’t as easy to start cold as it is warm, and I just haven’t gotten it done. Maybe tonight when I get home I can fire up the saw before the next round of snow hits and puts them on the ground and on the road.
