In short, yes. You must convert the rifle so it is considered "American Made." To do so, you are gonna take out all the crappy russian stuff, and add good ol' american made parts such as trigger, hammer, hammer disconnect (trigger group), a pistol grip, a stock, and then finally the bullet guide.

If I add the bullet guide. Do I have to go and get all that right away in order to shoot it "LEGALY" ? I already found a pistol grip/stock I want to add on my gun. and a shorter hand guard.

You can do the pistol grip and stock conversion and then come back and install the bullet guide later, or you can do it all at the same time. I would just play it safe and make sure you do the cosmetic conversion before the bullet guide installation.

Also note, that you CANNOT just throw on shorter handgaurds without first buying a different gas piston tube. This is why you see the saiga handgaurd left on, because its kind of a pain for such little benefit.

He will be hard to find because he is an elite member of a mobile strike force unit that monitors a major shopping center. He is also a master of nin-jitsu. I hear he has his own website now. You should find him and join his message board. It will be much more valuable to you than this board.

xbox360 if I were you I'd start with a couple of the surefire high caps (they work without mods) and learn how to use your rifle before you go converting anything. Good luck Jr.

To the OP: I don't know if you want to be disruptive, but it is beginning to seem that you are...if not it is alright to post a thread, but not one nearly identical daily, or weekly, or monthly. Add your thoughts to the original thread, and God (and maybe Shaggy) only knows which that was. Let this be the new "original" thread for all things Saiga for you. If you have questions, post them here, but research them (especially at saiga12forum.com) and do a search first.
