I'm seeing a variety of scope mounts for the Saiga/AK series, where the scope mount comes up, and then a Weaver rail is added to it, and then Weaver rings, and then a scope.
That seems like a lot of intermediary steps; is there any decent mount which just comes up and has 1" rings built-in?
www.kalinkaoptics.com has several possible options, but I have no idea which are good and which are curb-feeler.
What's a good mount and scope for the Saiga that doesn't take four different steps, and doesn't sit too high? I might end up doing the .223 Saiga pseudo-Dragunov thing, and have a 1" Tasco Prongorn sitting around (and a Weaver K4 that I suppose I could try out)
