I relly think that the accuracy of the 308 is quite good. I remember once, at the range, there was about 5 min to go in the session. i quickly loaded up 100 rounds of various mfgrs, randomly in my mags. I then shot at 100 yards, open sites, at a 5 inch shoot n see target. I would say that i pulled the trigger , every time i got my sites back on , and took two deep breaths, about every 7 to 10 seconds. I fired all 100 rounds.
When I went downrange, i had hit my target 96 times. This was with the 16 inch bbl version. I would really like to see what the one with the 22 inch bbl, and wood furniture could do.
