There have been too many people actively involved in the investigation for a cover up. They can't keep a lid on all of them.

Speaking of mental illness, murderer isn't a psychiatric diagnosis. The question is what diagnosis and/or treatment had he had before he went over the edge.

You think it's all obvious. Obvious how? Based on what facts? Have you seen the case files? Maybe he had Asperger's, maybe it was something else. Maybe he had been treated for depression or anxiety or OCD, and maybe he hadn't. Maybe he was on meds for something, and maybe he wasn't. Maybe he had a brain tumor, too. There's nothing obvious yet. There's not even a test to confirm Asperger's, only some checklists and then it's all professional opinion. Even a brain scan isn't conclusive, since so much of the disability that is Asperger's is related to impaired social skills.

I miss working with the Asperger's kids coming out of high school and college and looking for jobs and careers. I like being retired, so I'm not going back.

Sane people don't gun down a room full of little kids. Combined with his mothers attempts at having him committed = Obviously crazy. I'd bet a dollar that he also had a drawer full of psych pills and at least one psychiatrist who knew of violent threats but did nothing. Just like the Aurora shooter.

Instead all we get is reports about how many rounds, caliber, Bushmaster, etc.
