Sarco Roto 4M 1911 barrels - price seems too good...

Sarco has their Roto 4M hammer forged standard 5 inch 1911 .45 barrels for $39.50, which is much cheaper than the second cheapest alternative. Anyone have any experience with these barrels? sarco's ad really talks them up like they are some awsome barrels. what do you get with $150 barrels that you don't get with these?

I checked with sarco, the Roto barrels do have a hole at both ends. any other concerns? if not I'm about to do my own research and buy one.

I bought one a few years ago, typical drop in. Did OK, but ended up upgrading to a Ed Brown, match barrel.

Still didn't help my marksman ship.

that sounds good. I don't need a match barrel, just something reliable that will provide OK accuracy for some fun offhand shooting.

Should work just fine for what you seem to want.

Most everything I gotten from SARCO I've been satisified with. They ship quick too.

They ship quick if it is in stock. I have waiting on a backordered 1911 9mm roto barrel for 4 months.:banghead: They are still waiting on the ship to leave the islands............
