Let me know what you guys think. I think she's perdy!! I'll also try to get a better quality pic up once I get time.

She sure is perdy. I like projects like that. Let us know how she shoots when you get the chance.

Will do! I hope to get to the range more now that I have Saturdays off. This one will be the first I take out!! Going to try it with American Eagle .223 55gr (cause they were cheap), Fiocchi 50gr Vmax loads (for coyotes), Remington UMC 55gr FMJ, and 50gr hollowpoint, and something in the 62gr department (not sure as to what brand yet). After all that I'll cook up some hand loads.

There is a section of black that looks different next to the red tape.
Inquiring minds...

The red looks like a muzzle cover made from cardboard like one that would ship with a new barrel.

How do you like the scope up that high?

How do you like the scope up that high?

Didn't really so I just installed a set of Leupold Med extended rings. Moved the scope back about 3/4" for better eye relief and is the perfect height for the comb and my head.

On another note I can't believe how quick I recieved my rings from Midway USA. Ordered sunday about 7:00 PM and Recieved just about 20 mins ago. Thank you Midway and Mr. Potterfield!

Now I guess I'll have to do a thread on my 110 project. I'll tease just a little. The hole in the barrel will be a little more than twice as big.

Its a plastic muzzle cover with red tape on the front (so I don't shoot it off )
That's not a bad idea. I thought that was your airsoft conversion kit (for cheap plinkin' ya know). :D

308, think bigger, much bigger.

Oh, stay off the internet for a day and go shoot it allready!
