I bought one this afternoon. I bought the 12FV (composit stock, blue finish) in 22-250. I'm putting a Bushnell Elite on it as well. I can't wait to shoot it.

I have a pre accutrigger 12 in 22-250. Had a little fine tuning done on the trigger and it is an impressive shooter. Bought it used for way less than it should have been but I gave him what he asked. What do Model 12's sell for now?

I haven't shot it yet,but, a friend has one & its Sweet! Almost no felt recoil & superb accuracy(he says 1/2 grps @ 100yds).They are going for $1050 up here in the frozen wasteland(Canada),I got this as a Savage demo for $850.Still amassing reload'n recipes to start experimenting with.Whoever is interested can check back in a few weeks to see what loads will work if you like? Oh I forgot, the Bushnell 3200 10x is great! I've shot out to 1000yds & its more than capable & great price too.You can't beat the target turrets for Bench/Varmint & playing with the nemesis,............Wind! SgtRock04

The 12 and 112 series are my favorite rifle.

I've been scrounging gunbroker among other places for some time looking for a 112 FVSS in 7mm mag with the synthetic stock, stainless finish, and 26 inch barrel with no luck. Now I don't have any money anyways, so I guess I don't feel as bad.
