Savage 1907 .32 Magazine question

I have a 1907 Savage,and was looking for an extra magazine, but the one I found has one slot at the bottom of the magazine, where my pistol has two slots. without the 2nd slot, this magazine will not seat into my pistol.

Now first thought was cut a 2nd slot. But then I remember reading somewhere that the first 1907 savages had an issue with the magazine falling out while firing.

So now,, 2nd thought is do I have a more rare magazine? Something worth trading for two of the later magazines?

Anyone have an idea about the one slot magazines?

The single slot magazine is an older version but I am not sure the value is any higher than a later two slot magazine.
Since dual slot magazines will work in earlier guns but not vice versa, the magazine is really worth less on the commercial market but may be worth more to a dedicated Savage collector.

Any original Savage magazine in usable shape is worth an easy $75+
