savage 24v ?

What is a fair price for a clean (80%) savage 30-30/ 20 bore combo with wood (blond)? I dont know the exact age. Is 370 too much?

Savage 24

Most I've seen (and owned), if in vg or better condition, sold for more. Check AA & GB for comparisons. The combo is very desirable.

I think the price given that combo to be fair. Might try for 350. I have the same gun in .223/20 ga I don't think that I would sell it for 350. If that helps I would consider buying another one if offered in that range. The most popular were .22/.410 don't think I would give over 200 for that combo. The centerfires just go high not all that many around for sale

I agree. A fan and collector of the breed might be willing to do $400 or even more, but I think $350 sounds a lot better to Joe Average.


At least it's one of the rarer variants, which helps it command a higher price.

Jim, you buying or selling? I'm not in the market, just curious. I do like the 24s, though. I have a 24E-DL in .22WMR/20 gauge that is my favortite small game gun. No plans to sell it any time soon.
