savage 340 hornet scope mounts?

i am replacing the scope on my savage 340 hornet. the scope mounts i currently have, are plate steel with the rings stamped into the mount spaced at 1 and 1/8 inch. i am having trouble finding a scope turret which will fit between the rings.
What other type of mounts and rings work on the savage 340?

thanks Abel. i looked at the bsquare mount, but was afraid i would not like the height. i am also considering an aperature sight, since i don't shoot the hornet further than 100 yards.

Williams makes a great peep specifically for the 340.

airdaleman, my mount is 1 inch. i will keep your offer in mind. i am also looking for scopes which have small enough turrets to fit between the rings, so i am not completely ready to discard what i have.
