Savage 7xx ??

I have a Savage 12ga auto shotgun which my father got from a gunsmith in the mid 70's which I'm trying to identify. I can't find a model number or identifing marks except "savage Automatic Shotgun" it appears to be a civilian version of the 720 as it has a little bit of engraving. From what I've read they are similar to the Browning A5 and remmington 11. I would like to replace the stock (fore stock is cracked and the butt stock appears to have shrunk) with a synthetic and extend the magazine if possible. Anyone know of a source for parts where I could set this up for shotgun use in 3 gun matches?

Look at Numrich. The fore stock is the same as a Rem 100/A Browning, but the butt isn't the same. A 1100 needs to be modified, but not too much from what i have researched. Let me know what you get and how it works as I want synthetic for my 720.
