I just got me a brand new- savage 93 .17HMR, on saturday and i had to wait till after the Easter festivities to check it out, so i grab the box and see that bolt is shipped seperately, so i read a little and see all i have to do is push bolt into place, squeeze trigger "firmly" as instructions said, and away i go to the range,, I ran 40-rounds thru it to get it dialed in at 50-yds ,, managed to remove bullseye with last 20-rounds, and thought WOW cant wait to move over to 100 and 200-yard range another day. So i go home and get ready to clean rifle before next range-time and now the bolt WILL-NOT come out !!...,, it says to push safety "on" and firmly squeeze trigger while pulling bolt back,,, well i dont know what firmly implies, but im sure it dosent mean squeeze it as HARD as you can (which i did),, any ideas ?/ I unfortunatelty bought it from big-box retail so taking it back for them to ship back to savage would mean another 80=mile round trip,,, ANY IDEAS ?? ANYBODY ??
