Sometimes we don't hear enough good news with firearms companies, but my recent experience with Savage is worth sharing with the THR faithful. The bolt on my oldest son's 93 recently seized after a day of shooting. We packed it up and sent it on its way with a note attached, and within two weeks, the good folks at Savage shipped it back neatly packaged and wrapped and reassembled. No charge for the warranty work.
I like that kind of excellent customer service, so I thought I would put out the good word for Savage. Here's a photo of the rifle after I unpacked it (the scope has since been reattached).
