Can the Accutrigger be replaced? If so, what are some good options?? I like Savage rifles, but I just don't like the accutrigger...

Both Rifle Basix and Timney make good, easy-to-install triggers weighted for hunting and paper punching. If you're looking for a serious comp trigger, Fred Moreo at Sharp Shooters Supply offers pre and accutrigger replacements that are fully adjustable, wieghted 2-12 oz. I just completed a 35Whelen elk rifle built on a Savage long action and am using one of Fred's trigger off the bench for load development but I will change to a 12-24 oz Timney as Fred's is just too light for me for a field carry gun with gloves and such.
