Savage axis upgrade questions

Alright now tell us more about this non-stock 6BR.

I am curious because I am looking to barrel my Model 11 action in either a 6BR or 6 ARC.

It's a shilen premium match barrel, stock trigger and I have no idea the stock. My 223 is more modified with the same barrel a timminy trigger and a composite stock I had to modify. The 6br does have a precision ground lug that is thicker than stock. My dad built both and we borrowed headspace guages from the RO at ncpalla. I

Thank you for posting that link. Its a site I am not familiar with and will be checking it out more.

I'm currently looking at some scopes just not sure of what to get. I'm looking at the vortex brand in something like the 6x24ish-50 range. I want to shoot good and be comfortable doing it. I like the fact I can see my 223 holes on paper at a 100 yards with my other scopes on my other ARs. Looking for something like that but I want the turrets that I can zero and set them at zero for easier adjustments (unscrew the knob and set them at zero after sighting in).

I'm tired of fighting junk. I know it's a Savage but I want something that shoots good no matter what brand it is. I'm not talking about the rifle itself and not calling Savage junk. Decent quality optics is what I need or want.

I am by no means an expert but I put this on my Savage Model 10 223 to enable me to shoot a winter rifle league. I can easily see 223 holes at 200yds even at 24X. Would I buy another? YES!

That looks very tempting to me with all those features at that price point, but I'm really trying to limit my purchases of Chinese made goods at the moment.
