savage mark II

Just picked up a savage markII at Dick's for 80 bucks on clearence, it had no iron sights so i dropped on a 4x16x40 with red/green illiminated mil dot retrical from center point i got that for 60 bucks, so all together it costs me $140. put a 150 rnds through it the other day and it is dead accurate picking off half dollor sized pieces of shooting clays i found lying around the range(trap feild next to 100/200yrd range). definitly one of my favarite setups right now real fun to shoot no recoil, one complaint about the 17 mark II is that once the wind picked up it was all over the place.. other than that i think it shoots alot better than the 22

yep common knowledge, but if you shoot both it, and a 22lr, at 100 yds, you will see that the 17 moves less than the 22.

Great deal on a great gun. I love mine in .22 with the heavy barrel and the accutrigger.
