Any word on these? Saw one at a shop, but you know how some shops are, everything is "great".

Usage- informal shooting games, maybe bird hunting.

Any other suggestions in this price range? MSRP-$1566.00 (according to the Savage web site)

I know that it is made in Italy. A friend of mine has one and he loves it. Personally I like the Franchi Renaissance also. You might give them a look.

    Mike,
I have an I.Rizzini which is an earlier version of and handles the same as the Milano (made by FAIR). Fits me perfectly so it points and shoots very well. They have that lively Italian gun feel and seem to be well built. You might check over at shotgunworld.com forums and search Milano (no registration required) for some more info.
