Savage MK II bases

I have a Simmons 511039 scope with rings and can't find the proper bases to mount it to my Savage
MK II which is tapped for screw on bases. The Weaver chart says #16, but my rings won't fit it.

that scope probably came with 3/8th dovetail rings. youll need weaver style rings

LoonWulf strikes again. The Simmons scope, according to the ads, comes with rings for 3/8" grooved receivers. I have gotten inexpensive 1" rings that fit on the Weaver style bases that came on my Mark II rifles.
