Savage Model 10 Precision Carbine???

Is anyone familiar with this rifle?

I was considering a Rem 700 SPS in .308 Win (on back order everywhere?), but the Savage probably has a better trigger and stock, and I prefer the detachable mag.

I oculdn't find any reviews in the usual places on the web--any thoughts? TIA.

I think Guns and Ammo did a review of the Accu Stock a couple months ago.

I like Savages. My 110FP in .308 and 20" barrel (pre AccuTrigger)shoots sub 1" with almost any ammunition I put through it.

Back when the model 10 first came on the market guys at Varmint Hunter were raving about what a great rifle it was BEFORE the accutrigger.

on the detachable magazine models, it's usually wise to order the mags fitted to the rifle
