I am currently in the market for a bolt action rifle chambered in .270. At my local gunshop I ran across the Savage Model 114 and really liked the feel of this gun, and was impressed by the way the Accu-Trigger felt. I have done a bit of research and it seems as though the rifle gets some pretty good reviews around the net. But I was wondering if anyone around here actually owns and/or shoots one on a regular basis? How is the accurracy right out of the box with a decent scope? Are they easy to clean and work on? I will be shooting basically all reloads in this gun, does anyone have experience with their reloads in this rifle. I started out wanting a Remington 700 but seems as though I could get a little bit more for less money with the Savage. Is this true?
