Savage model 12 FTR long range scope.

I am looking for a scope for my recently purchased rifle.

It's a Savage 12 F/TR in .308


I am looking at a Vortex Razor HD.


Who has experience with scopes at 1000+ yards?

I have been out of action for a while, but I have not seen a Vortex scope at an F class match. Prices are up in the Nightforce range which I HAVE seen a lot of at F class.

I like the Nightforce 8-32 x 56 NXS and @ $1700 it's a steal.

I agree with your decision on glass. The only thing to do after that really for a bit more is USO or S&B.

I just bought the same rifle over the weekend. It's wearing a 8.5x25x50 Mark IV right now , thinking real hard on a Nightforce 12x42 BR scope to top it off with.
