I started a thread awhile back about the difficulty finding Savage rifles. Actually, there are lots of Savage rifles around, just not the one I am looking for. Got a call back from my local Cabela's in Kansas City. Same story, they don't even take orders for them because it ties up customer money for months and they cannot get a delivery date. Guess I may have to give up and buy a CZ or an expensive Cooper or Anschutz. Just wanted to let everyone know what I learned.
