i have bought a 300 savage model 99 take down for $50.00 all the numbers match on the butt and foregrip has the 5 round counter on the side plate. has not been taped or drilled for a scope. seems all org. need to know more info on this rifle and if it was a good deal the s#351833. thanks

You bought a Model 99 takedown in 300 Savage for $50? And you want to know if anybody here will be angry at you because they didn't get to it first.
I'd keep it myself but if you want to sell it, unless it's in terrible condition you should be able to buy a brand new gun with the profit.

Kinda odd looking but they don't build em like that anymore and it's just one of the best guns ever made for the style of hunting that most of us still do.
