Yes, it's not hard, just take your time and make sure everything lines up. don't be afraid to use blue thread locker from any auto parts store. it will come off, but won't let your screws vibrate loose. Some of my rifles have it, some don't. I've never needed it with the dednutz game reaper mounting systems though. they are great.
