How hard is it to switch the barrels on a Savage rifle?

I'm thinking I can have two rifles / scopes plus 2 other barrels in other calibers.
-12FVSS
.223 / .204
.243WSSM / .300WSM

I now have a Weatherby Vanguard 7mm Mag I don't like which isn't very accurate that I'd get rid of. I also don't like the wood / blued for hunting and the light weight barrel that doesn't shoot straight and has lots of recoil.

My other rifle is a Ruger M77 Target in .223 that I like fairly well, but would like to get a little better groups....

A while back there was a lot of ink on how easy it is to change barrels on a Savage 110 because of the lock nut setup. There were magazine articles written and complete kits advertised with barrel, wrench, and headspace gauge. Boltheads and magazine boxes were listed for major changes. The fad seems to have died down and Midway, who pushed the notion hard to start with, only lists a few remaining combinations. Like .223 Ackley Improved. The whole thing appears to have pooped out before the WSMs came along. Check Brownell and Midway catalogs for the pieces and tools.
