Pinned and Recessed, stock service grips, N-frame 357, FIXED sights - so not a Highway Patrolman, and looked to be a 4" barrel. I THINK the model was 570 - should have written it down. Seems kinda rare - are they?

They made around 3000 of them and they are sort of a "cult" collector gun. The prices have been running up on them lately if you are in the buying mood.

I should have picked one up years ago but did not and now they are too rich for what they are to me.

I picked up one of these last year for $359. It had some really nice combat grips on it instead of the originals, but what the heck. I figure with only 3000 made I didn't do too bad. It's the only N frame .357 with fixed sights.

Too bad I'm not in the 'hunt' for an N-frame revolver - into .22s now. Was in the pawn shop to look at .22s and looked at it because I got rid of my 28-2 a few years back, and sometimes regret it. (Of course, I know now...). It had some finish wear near the muzzle, some rust specks on the lower right side, and the grips looked bad on one side - likely replaced. The lock-up was extremely tight - better than my old HP, and the cylinder lock marks were pretty faint. Could have been OTD for likely $350 - likely a bit less, but I don't NEED it. If I were in the hunt, a 19 may have bent me...
