Saw my first Bulk 40s&w ammo in nearly 5 months.

My local Academy had its first delivery of bulk 40 cal ammo in the past 5 months. It was going for $94.99 for a box of 250 UMC. The remington 100 round box was $37.99. The CCI 1600 round box of 22lr has gone up $20 from $99.99 to $119.99. Still no 38 special or 357. Its now harder to come byi than 9mm. Lots of Tula 7.62x39 is available and some Tula 223.

At $599/1000 (.40S&W FMJ), it's been pretty easy to find at several LGS's around here for a while now. Granted it doesn't sell fast at that price, but at least it is available if you NEED it.

The 22 ammo price is absolute robbery.

There is no justification except greed. People are camping out on delivery day and sucking up stock as soon as it is tallied and sticker priced and turning it around and selling it on line

I'm not saying that you or I couldn't be the ones out in front of the Big 5's and Cabelas waiting in the cold of the morning, but.....dang!

We are in a "Well, what can ya do?" situation here until calm is restored, but terrorist activity has a way of extending things with "Don't let a crisis go to waste" type people leading this Nation of OURS.
