SBR this?

Get the approved form 1 and have it engraved and order a stock. Once have that complete push out the two pins, install the stock and replace the pins.
 
A one like this one wouldn't be a bad choice.

I believe you need the collapsible stock with the telescoping recoil assembly (as compared to the one-piece unit in most rifle stocks.) Vector was selling them; it is where I got mine for my V-51 pistol when I converted it to SBR. I think they have stopped selling anything to do with those guns.

With HK pattern rifles you need to be mindful of buffered bolt carriers vs. buffered stocks. If the carrier is buffered, then the stock won't need one. If it's an unbuffered carrier then the stock will need one.

You'll need a 2-pin stock from a 91. The single pin stocks are for the 93s (5.56mm) and the 94s (9mm).

The stocks aren't cheap, so shop smart.
 
WOW! this is making my head spin. I might just go back to idea #1: get an AK pistol, but a stock adapter, slap an ACE on it. it would be alot cheaper, but man, this thing would be sooooooo much kuler :D
 
A regular HK91 recoil assembly will not fit on a PTR-PDW because they have two different recoil spring rods. The PDW has a two piece rod that retracts towards the muzzle end of the recoil spring and is shorter. You could swap the recoil assembly from the PDW to the HK91 stock if you register an SBR.
