Oops, my bad. I saw a "Lourie for Senator" bumper sticker on a car and it caused a brain fade on my part. I remember him from when he was originally elected as a rep because as he was campaigning he personally went door to door through our neighborhood.

Alright! It finally came, in the mail today. I went home for lunch, and my wife smiled and said she had something for me...after the thought that is crossing your mind crossed my mind, she handed me an envelope from SLED containing my permit.

Interesting thing: apparently, as a work around for the picture/signature problems with military folks, the permits are slightly different. First, it says "Military Concealed Weapons Permit" at the top, and "Valid Only If Accompanied with Military ID" at the bottom. So us military folks have a special type card. Plus, only the front comes laminated. This is so I can actually sign the back, then, I guess, laminate the back.

Now...when my wife applies next month (after her 21st birthday), will her dependant ID be considered valid military ID, or will I have to open another can of worms?
