Some time ago, folks suggested putting together a meet at the Mid Carolina Rifle Club , but last I saw no one could agree on a date and it kinda fell through.
so...
I'm going to be at MCRC this weekend, Saturday afternoon at 3PM on the General Purpose Bay. Any and all THR folks are welcome to drop by and say hello! Sorry if this date/time doesn't work, but consensus is going to be impossible... If we get this into a 'regular' thing, then perhaps we can shake up the day of the week and time a bit so that other folks will be able to come now and then.
If you're not a member of the club and you need someone to 'sponsor' you as a guest. I can certainly do so for 4 people. Anyone who needs to do so can PM me. Also, anyone who is a member and can sponsor someone, please also PM me and I'll hook you up with my 'overflow' guests if we have any.

As a challenge/invitation, I've never shot an "homeland defense rifle" other than a Yugo SKS and I'm considering buying one at some point, so if anyone has a FAL, AR-15, CETME, AK, etc that they wouldn't mind sharing, I have a NewEngland Westinghouse M91 Mosin-Nagant (slightly sporterized, I'm afriad) and a few other goodies that you're more than welcome to try in exchange for the privelege of putting a round or two down range from an 'Evil Black Rifle'.
