Scalia hates the founding fathers... the treacherous dog!

If you really think Scalia is hostile to our rights and freedoms, you obviously haven't read his dissent in McConnell v FEC, which can only be described as scathing.

Scalia is against the rights and freedoms we all love and cherish.

Someone hasn't been paying attention.
Read his opinions, especially his dissents. The only problem with Scalia on the SC is that there aren't 7 more like him.

For some folks

"civil rights" means unlimited pornography, government racism, and the right to give Uncle Sam the finger. Scalia is indeed and enemy of those rights. Good on him.

You guys just don't get it, do you? Let me spell it out for you: Scalia dared to think that Thomas Jefferson was NOT perfect and made some mistakes.

That's just the same as hating all the Founding Fathers!!!

Yeah.

With friends like these....

With a clown like this on SCOTUS, 2nd amendment doesn't stand a chance.

Saying this shows how little you know about Scalia and the supreme court in general. He would be one of 2 perhaps three people on the current court that would hold that the 2nd amend. is an individual right. He is probably one of the best allies for us. next time try and be a little more educated about what you are discussing.

Yeah, right...

mebbe we should have 9 like Ginsberg...

only thing missing then would be referring to everyone as "comrade"

Scalia is one of the few thin treads saving us from socialism

Say what?

Grey, this is a MOCK trial, and furthermore from your comments I don't think you know Scalia's legal philosophy from a wet napkin. Go read "A Matter of Interpretation" and then get back to us.

Edited to add: Sorry for being so harsh, but calling the man a "treacherous dog" is also pretty low.
